Nintendo NX - 1080P/60 with FreeSync - if they can get a Zen APU in there, why not. biggrin.gif

Wouldn't FreeSync on a console be kind of useless? I'm actually thinking it would be pretty damn awesome if TV manufacturers adopted some sort of refresh rate syncing tech (FreeSync or Adaptive-Sync) and consoles started to include it. I think you're on to something...

Consoles don't always maintain 30fps. Freesync would make the whole 24-30fps range viable for a cinematic smooth experience!

Similar with games that target 60fps. They don't always maintain it sometimes.

Yes but who plays consoles on a monitor? AFAIK FreeSync is nonexistent on televisions.

* raises hand sheepishly *

I don't really play any console in earnest though. Gaming on my TV is done with my HTPC and I have the PS3 hooked up to one of my monitors with a display switch to satisfy random Street Fighter cravings whilst I wait for responses on work-related queries. Realistically I can't think that the majority of console gamers would use a monitor by choice.

intel HD530 = intel IrisPro 5200 = GT730 GDDR5
intel IrisPro 6200 = GT740~GTX750

HD530 is roughly comparable to Iris Pro 5200, both are within 10% of GT730 GDDR5 in performance.

Sorry nVidia, you missed your chance. Intel and AMD have had integrated graphics faster than this for a while.

Even my tablet would give the GT710 a run for its money, and that's a Broadwell-Y chip with an amazing 4.5W TDP that uses the case as a heatsink.
