For Sale:
EVGA GTX 980 SC - 85.7% ASIC

Will Ship To: US48

Hello, today i'm listing an EVGA Superclocked GTX 980.

The card is lightly used - a few months old and has not been overclocked outside of some testing I did tonight to see what the card is capable of (that information will be at the bottom). It comes with the original box and all included components unopened except for the VGA to DVI adapter as I have passed that on to a friend. I also have the original receipt as well which I can include if you would like confirmation on its age or find it useful for keeping up with EVGA's excellent warranties.

I'm looking for 440$ shipped but also open to trades of lower-tier maxwell based GPU's (960 and 970) + money, and prefer EVGA but am open to MSI, Gigabyte and ASUS models if they are comparably new (6 months or less old preferred).

For those interested in it's overclockability
EVGA claims a boost clock of 1367 Mhz but my 980 boosts to 1455 Mhz core on its own, and I was able to push it to 1593 with a +125 core bump while the card remained at or under 93% power usage after its bump. It would seem to have some more headroom especially if you bump the power limit but I did not try to push the card beyond a +125 core and cannot attest to it beyond that. It has never had any modifications whatsoever in terms of voltage, bios, etc. MSI screencap included to verify this information.

Questions, offers, trades, etc please feel free to PM me I will respond as much as I can around the clock to be as fast as possible.

Just for all of ya'll who may be on the fence of the value of a 980 I will based on the description above this is a SOLID card that will game all day at any resolution (depending on other hardware of course) yer willing to play at with settings that would be acceptable, including 4k. At 1080/1440 you will have no issues with anything out right now. I'm no one but I will bet a $1 you won't be disappointed. I'd use this in my main or backup gaming systems and I'm a overkill kinda guy. thumb.gif

If I may ask .... what's the ASIC ... more for my personal knowledge than what it means. wink.gif

970 FTW+ with ~78 ASIC, game stable 1513MHz (1540MHz FireStrike), runs 1430MHz out of the box, literally brand new, less than 2 week old, how much on top ?
