And then it will work plug&play on any PC, with generic drivers, even at the desired polling rate?

probably. i can check if you want

btw, iirc, logitech's mice are always 1000hz polling. they get e.g. 500hz by ignoring every other poll.

Yes literally every mice with a software that I've had works like this, I can literally reformat my windows any time of the day and retain the same settings on my death-adder without even installing the software and when I do, the same settings I set the first time are still there, even on various different PC's of friends it was the same, same with my steelseries kinzu a cheap ass mice that I got for like $20 or even less on amazon.

I am getting a G303 in 2 days from amazon, so if you want me to check with that to see if it retains the same settings (which it probably does), than I will for you buddy, though they are not the same mouse...

Fair enough, then Zowie doesn't even really have that advantage over other mice anymore either.

Welp, I did with a G100s on G440 hardmat. The feet is so worn out the button of g100s is dragging against the mat.

Logitech replaced it with new one after I contacted them. Although I perfer them just mail me a spare feet.
