Like I said, Kepler owners are getting royally screwed.

Kepler is bad at tesselation, so is AMD, so no surprises here.

How are they getting screwed? Kepler was always bad at tesselation. Game developers can decide if tessellation is worth it, obviously they like it as it is a way to add detail without as much of a performance hit as one would expect for said detail, especially on newer architectures. I would much rather they use it instead of leaving it out so the lowest common denominator can "max" the graphics options. rolleyes.gif

Kepler users simply need to turn down a few settings, no big deal when using a GPU from a previous generation.

1st: the used drivers are 361.71 PREVIEW, which means, GAME-READY specific drivers.
2nd: AMD drivers are the 16.1 Crimson ones. No drivers for the game yet. So, in 5 days, when AMD release drivers, and the 390 starts roflstomping the 970, would you still be yelling NVIDIA?
Calm your horses please.

"Wait for drivers, then it will be better" isn't very supportive is it? AMD really needs to get on driver development so they have game ready drivers ready on day 1 too.

As good of a game as this looks, I think I'll wait till it's discounted.

I will wait for a week for driver release and for... another release, not driver related biggrin.gif My brother will probably like it, in terms of gameplay and story.

based on reading from 3 sources:
1. 390/970 are head to head
2. 980Ti is in the league of it's own
3.Fury X seems like the biggest loser here, trailing to 980 and hardly any faster than 390/970.

3 benchmark, 3 different results.
Soon digital foundry will show different results.

And like I said probably AMD Fury X suffers from CPU overhead.

If this game was heavy on tessellation then R9 380X would beat R9 290.

well, the might be little different, but the general pattern's the same. 980Ti pulls faaar away, 980 is generally faster than Fury X excluding 4K res, 390 is head to head with 970.
And considering most people run their 970s with like 1500 core and 390 doesnt oc worth crap, don`t think there is much of a comparison to be made.

R9 380 vs GTX 980
GTX 780Ti vs R9 290/390

check it out.
