Sorry for not being clear.

I find it to be a bit of a joke that someone would post a review/benchmark and complain about stutters when not using the vendor provided, game specific drivers. Seems completely absurd to me, bordering on moronic. I am sure they were just trying to get the benchmarks out in a timely fashion for revenue, but in this case it pretty much invalidates their testing.

So, yes, a joke

Same thing happened with FO4.
So wait, you link a article about a "review" where the person does not even got the game ready driver yet your counter to this is "wait for the drivers"?
Isn't that being a big hypocrite?

all in all, nvidia might have the lead in the high-end but this game needs patches badly....

So you guys excuse the stutter because Nvidia's game ready drivers aren't out yet, while at the same time acting like AMD's are?

Sounds like both arguments are hypocritical.. rolleyes.gif

Where did anyone excuse the stutter? We were talking about someone who ran the benchmarks without the game-ready driver, then published it.

Maybe read for some context, before jumping to conclusions thumb.gif

PS: Nvidias drivers are out for this title:

Also, the hypocritical aspect we were referring to is from this post:

How are they getting screwed? Kepler was always bad at tesselation. Game developers can decide if tessellation is worth it, obviously they like it as it is a way to add detail without as much of a performance hit as one would expect for said detail, especially on newer architectures. I would much rather they use it instead of leaving it out so the lowest common denominator can "max" the graphics options. rolleyes.gif

Kepler users simply need to turn down a few settings, no big deal when using a GPU from a previous generation.

Let's not forget the travesty that was Crysis 2's tessellated water, Batman's cape, and most recently, Geralt's hair.

And do we even know it's an issue with tessellation? On PCLab's "high setting" benchmark the 680/770 is pretty much on par with the 960, it's only when you crank to "very high" that Kepler starts melting down.

Regardless, IF the issue is tessellation, and IF the leaked screenshot is real, there's only an On/Off option for tessellation, so yeah Kepler owners are pretty well screwed if that's the only adjustment available.
