I noticed the patch added film grain turned on so I turned that off but didn't really notice any other new settings besides smooth mouse.

Shouldn't have any problems unless you use that crazy AA, the max aa setting is brutal.

The film grain was lumped in with the other effects before the patch, the patch added it as it's own setting so you can turn it on or off without effecting the other effects.

Since the patch update I am not able to Alt-tab out the game. If I do, game crashes.

Another thing, further in the game there is a circular platform which rotates, if you stand on it Lara stays still and doesn't rotate along biggrin.gif

I can Alt-tab fine after the patch, are you using the Steam version? What Windows version?

Just normal full screen, i haven't tried with the exclusive mode. Windows 7 was always a dog for me when it came to that type of thing.. Constant crashes and black screens when Alt-tabbing and changing audio sources while an app was running.

Could be Win7 or a driver issue, have you tried Alt-tabbing in both full screen modes?

xfire is working real wall for me @ 1600p. I have to run high textures with fxaa though. Smaa causes issues in some parts, like ice caves and soviet installation. uses too much ram.

Smooth 60 fps in most parts, current soviet place is in the high 40 fps though. Still pretty smooth though.
