R9 390 questions and issues

Hey all,

I got my new Asus R9 390 Strix OC version today...

Whacked it in and downloaded the latest drivers...

Seemed ok in Fallout 4 but in Elite Dangerous it was very "clunky" and I couldn't select ANY of the tabs in the options menu.

I optimised all games through the Gaming Evolved app supplied with the drivers.

Would it be better to uninstall everything and JUST install the basic drivers?

Thanks

Yes, uninstall everything and restart from zero. Just install the latest crimson drivers without the "Gaming Evolved App" (it's simply horrible and useless) and you'll be more than fine.

I had the same issues but with my GTX 980. If I run it in windowed full-screen mode the performance seems to be much, much better. Not entirely sure why, but I've seen countless people say it's helped with performance and in-game menus on high-end cards. confused.gif
