Coming from a GTX 980

Thread Starter
I'm getting a bunch of driver/software issues with the GTX 980, that I want to give ATI a try.

Need a recommendation on which card I should switch over to?

1. r9 390x no OC
2. r9 390 and oc it
3. used 290/x and oc it
4. r9 nano
5. r9 390x devil
6. or another card of your choice?

no budget really, but i want to keep price around the ~4/500 range

thanks in advance thumb.gif

If budget is no problem, I'd go all out and get Fury or Fury X.

With Fury X you get water cooling, which is a big plus too.

I feel like that would be a waste of money though since the new gen cards will be coming out soon. Also, in terms of performance.. I am mainly on 1440p. No 4k yet (I will plan to upgrade later once more 4k 144hz panels comes out).. so the fury x might be overkill?

Newegg has the Nano for under 500 right now. And down the road you could water cool it. They seem to do pretty well on OC once under water.

I've also been eyeing a 390x Devil too. Under $400 right now on the egg. Both great choices IMO
