Ordered a new pioneer vsx 530k receiver from newegg for a lot cheaper then a set of high end headgear... Now just need a mic.

Mic wise I don't really know a lot of the tech behind them, but I've heard good things about the yeti pro.

Honestly, as long as you aren't doing anything serious any mic will do. I know people who have spent $100+ on a mic just for gaming, and then there are people like me who buy a crappy headset and cut off the headphones and use the mic. Don't sweat it.
