Need SFF case recommendation

Thread Starter
Hello all, I am in the need of a new small ITX case: ideally less than 15L; it must have support for a full size GPU (29cm); no need for full ATX PSU support as I already have a sfx-l 500w PSU; must ideally also support my cryorig C1 cooler and have support for 2 3.5" HDDs as this build will be used as a HTPC/NAS. Does anyone know of a case that would meet these needs?

You could try the Silverstone SG08? but by the looks of it you already have a pretty similar case.

My current case is not suitable anymore as I have managed to trash it going back and forth to uni!

After your reccomendation I'm now considering:

Silverstone SG08B

or

Silverstone ML07B

Which I saw when price checking the SG08, however neither fit 2 3.5" HDDs unfortunately, which is the main reason I'm getting a new case, so this system can become a NAS and HTPC as I of course have no need for 2 gaming systems!

If your not planning to put cd drive. You could remove that bracket and have enough room for another 3.5 drive on top of the cage for the other 3.5 drive.

The NCase M1 can hold all the stuff you want. Don't know about the C1 but you can mount a lot of storage in that case.

If your GPU is in the 2 SLot boundries you can mount one more 3.5" or 2.5" drive underneath it. You have also option for ODD if you don't want to mount 2x2.5" behind the frontpanel.

.

That is a cryorig c1 mounted in that picture. That's an expensive htpc case though.

Not sure if this is too big or how it compares to 15L, but it should fit the GPU and HDDs no problem and likely the cooler as well.

almost 20L so, probably too big.

well, using my search utility, there's only one case that your requirements of sub 15L, gpu length >290mm and 2x 3.5" HDD.

And that's the Sharkoon QB One, which is your current case if i'm not mistaken. tongue.gif

Aside from the more premium NCase M1 of course.

Looks like I'll be rebuying then, as as much as I would love a Ncase its too expensive for what it is at the moment. Thanks a lot everyone. smile.gif
