Bai bai capitalism, you won't be missed.

Why on earth would you rant about capitalism regarding this technical achievement?

noun: capitalism

an economic and political system in which a country's trade and industry are controlled by private owners for profit, rather than by the state.

This is actually capitalism at its finest- a private company innovating. Better yield per area due to stacking, far fewer environmental factors, less resources required all around, and less labor = lower costs = higher profit. That's a huge incentive.

Pretty much this. To me it seems so, that as long as people have money to buy things, and the volume of currency in circulation is stable, we'll be able to handle most of any imaginable consumer demand without much inflation, through the market, looking at the productive potential of today.

Could even throw in financial hurdles for using eco unfriendly energy sources, and the market would manage.

People having enough money to be able to be customers is really important, though. At least if we want to rely on the market for most of anything.

The future is vertical farming. Not to mention building facilities today gives you opportunities to build efficient and green. Solar powered, unmanned farms will drop the cost of food and toll on the environment. Not to mention, there will still be jobs, albeit more technical.
