see if you can see the hard drive in the bios, maybe it has unplugged a little with the case changing shape (opening at the corner) and not making good contact anymore
if it's visible in bios maybe try removing the hard drive out, and plug it into a usb3 enclosure.
then plug it into your pc and see if you can see it (check disk manager if it doesn't show in explorer straight away).
if the hard drive isn't busted, you could wipe it from there and put it back and reinstall os.
also if you plug it into the pc, you can copy lots of data that's not private onto it, fill it up, then format, to make it harder for your old data to be recovered (although a format (non-quick) should be enough).
