It's best to buy monitors with displayport inputs. When you use 3 or more monitors, you will want as few adapters as possible. Displayport has always been the king of multiple monitors, and is the best input method overall. HDMI is just too limited and needs to be phased out. Even HDMI 2.0 cant compete with what displayport has been capable of since 2009, and it's only gotten faster.

GPUs meant for multiple displays have been featuring multiple displayport outputs for years, and for good reason. I won't even purchase a monitor without a displayport input.

I agree unfortunately I can't afford a TV with display port😧
