Disable the nvidia card in device manager

put the modified bios in the included folder
then Press shift and right click in the folder.

open the command prompt
and type nvflash YOURBIOSNAMEGOESHERE.rom
it takes less than 10 seconds for the flash to finish.

Nvflash.zip 920k .zip file

Dont try to flash any other bios.
only flash your own bios that you extract with gpu z.
backup your orignal and keep in safe place. dont modify it.
always modify a copy of your orignal bios for flashing.

Heres my latest tweaks. repasted and card ran much cooler and had to adjust for it. you may need to adjust your own values to fit with your card as well.

Thank you for making my card totally silent! exhappysmiley.png

I can now control the fan with a custom fan curve in MSI AB. I set it to 0% up to 47 degrees, then it will ramp upp to 23% and go on from there. The temperature doesn't exceed 70c.

Yes, If I set it to 22 or anyhting else under 23, the fans will not spin and they make a kind of.."laggy" sound, hard to describe.

Ok.

How big a difference did your repasteing make? I got some MX 4 paste here, would it make any bigger difference compared to stock paste?

Nice, about the same here, I just changed to MX4:

Stock paste:
Idle: about 32 degrees.
Load: about 66-67 degrees

MX4:
Idle: about 35 degreees
load: about 55

So it gotabout 10 degrees better in load, but 2-3 degrees worse in idle. However this paste might need to settle or "burn in" so I beleive the idle temps will drop to about the same in a week or two. smile.gif
