Upgrade or Replace

I am ready for a slight upgrade soon for 4k. I don't know what is better, getting another 290x for xfire, or selling that card and going for a single dual gpu or good card like the titan-x? And If i go for a single GPU what should it be?

Thanks guys.

I've seen that the 295x is really really good for 4k. On the other hand, the Titan X is almost just as good.

People are just expecting that Pascal will be 10x better than Maxwell.

I would not buy nor sell any GPU until march as thats when Nvidia announces its new GPU's. Even if we don't get a new card, new information should be available along with a release date. Are you dissatisfied with any new title with your 290 ? If yes, I'd get a used 290 and wait it out as the write down on it after a new card comes out would be far lower than getting a new card now. Also, Pascal is going to single handedly discover Dark Matter
