Ok my buddie has a HP system with a corsair 750 watt psu and purchased a GTX 960 4gb evga card along with a sapphire r9 380 and is installing them into HP i5 2400 system and they are not working either of them. here is what computer he has this PC shows pic of case and MB http://h20564.www2.hp.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=emr_na-c03068275-20
I told him to update his bios and try again. He said he called nvidia and it said he could get a 950 but not a 960 which I think is BS, but I could be wrong. He cannot remember but I asked if it had something to do with uefi but he said he think it might have been what they said.

Quick replys needed if possible and I thank you ahead of time.
The Graphins cqard will not display anything...hye said it sorta loads the windows screen and then lock and asks to get into the BIOS but it will not do anything. I also told him to disable the IGP and if he has the option to select primary graphics as PCIE.

Also he had a HD7750 card in it before hand

The more I read up on his motherboard i believe it is a UEFI problem at the moment he said their is a option to enable UEFI when his old card is in so I told him to install the 7750 and enable UEFI and then try the GTX 960 4gb card.
I do not think a fresh windows install will fix it until i exhaust every other option 1st.

I very much appreciate the quick response +1 rep
