Hi Overclock.net Forum members!!!
I'm newly registered here but was visiting this site for a very long time.
My 4+ years old Logitech G400 just started double clicking the 2nd time. The first time I fixed it was a success but the second time while trying to fix it I broke the copper contacts in the switch tongue.gif rendering my left mouse click useless. rolleyes.gif I don't know how that happened in the first time. My guess is that my dog dropped the mouse from the table by dragging the wire. I guess that resulted it from double clicking? XD Now I'm in search of a new mice that has the same feel and shape as the G400.

1. What's your grip style?
Palm/Fingertip Hybrid. Depends on how intense I'm playing wink.gif and I'm used to the shape of the G400.

2. What's your sensitivity?
I mostly play 800 dpi on my G400 in CS:GO and the max dpi of G400(3600 dpi) at MOBA type of games or casual browsing.

3. What's your maximum budget?
70 USD

4. Do you want additional buttons?
Depends. Mostly the side buttons in the mouse.

5. What games do you play?
CS:GO(Most of the time), DOTA 2, League of Legends, mostly FPS type of games

6. Do you mind about prediction?
No

7. Other relevant information
There is no G502 Proteus Spectrum in my country yet unfortunately. And these are the mice that have gotten my attention:
G303, Zowie EC1-A (Pre-Benq) , Ducky Secret , Rival 300 Fade edition, Deathadder Chroma. (They're all somewhat have the same price in my country).

My Dilemma is that there is G502 Proteus Core still selling in my country but as the newly released G502 Proteus "Spectrum" having the same price as it is. I'm reluctant to go pick up the old version of G502. I'm also not sure whether the Spectrum will be released in my country or not. So I'm setting my sights on Ducky Secret or Rival 300 Fade as of now.

Is there someone who owns a Ducky Secret?? Please comment on your genuine impression of it since there is not much reviews regarding it. XD Ty very much.
There is also durability issues regarding Rival 300 like the infamous double clicking or the rubber side grips peeling which restraints me from buying it.

Hand size: 19cm x 9cm LxW

TL;DR My G400 broke so I need a new gaming mice. Mostly palm grip and right handed ergonomics.

"second time while trying to fix it I broke the copper contacts in the switch"

Did the metal piece from the switch come off or did it literally break? The switch is a two piece part.

I know you are looking for a new mouse but a new switch is 200%? 400%? cheaper than buying a new mouse.

A little bit of soldering skills and you'll be able to use the g400 forever.

It literally break.

The letter C in the image broke off from the whole copper piece while trying to bend it.

If you really like the G400 and its shape, it can be fixed for less than $5 and have a few spare switches ebay
However if you want a new mouse the models you listed are good choices

EDIT: palming G303 dunno.. has to be some weird palm grip smile.gif

The G400 that I have right now also has an Angle Snapping ON. The batch that was released before PID 13333. So I want to try a new mouse without an Angle Snapping for once. thumb.gif I planned/wanted to before but the omron switch replacement is very rare in my country or if they're selling it costs 20 usd just for 2x of those switches.

I only recently saw ROG Gladius with their replacable mouse switches which suprisingly has the same price as the aforementioned mice. Is it any good??

If you don't mind your ring finger sort of sticking out and lying on the side lip of the mouse, it's very possible.

Through your suggestions regarding G303, I have found it unsuitable for palm gripping it. Then G303 is out of my list thumb.gif. I guess the G303 is the odd one out of the bunch of my mice picks since I just noticed most of them are for palm grip lol coolsmiley02.gif.
