Where to start ... alright ill start with where my budget was when i purchased all the parts. i was sitting happy on a $3,000 budget and like the moron i am i spent it on some good parts and some not so good parts.

The real reason im here today is because i have more money and my build is an absolute mess so to speak.

This is everything i have at the moment except for a couple noctua fans i put in there

Well nothing is really wrong with it, I just feel like I could have gotten a couple better parts such as a better mobo, better storage, better psu, a better case is a must too. Just little things I could get to make it more high end I kind of went the cheap route with a couple purchases.

The only reason I'm using a TV right now is because I wanted to try and save some money. I already had the TV so I figured I would just use that as my screen

cant see why your not happy...The mobo.cpu..gpu is exactly what i want...how can you not be happy?

the case is a great case also...not my taste but its a great case design...not every one is bold enough to go for a level 10!!!

screen ..understandable

but the rest...WOW you should be proud as hell on this build...
If youre not happy ..pm me//ill gladly welcome those into my open arms:D

You could have gotten a smaller, better PSU. That's about all I can see that REALLY needs changing, sort of, I don't know, AFAIK there are a couple of Rosewill 850W options.
A non-silly looking tongue.gif , newer case maybe. Can't think of anything else.

Hahaha ya I know the case is pretty funky looking but I fell in love with it when I first saw it. But now that I actually have it I'm having second thoughts... it feels really cheap IMO. I'll probably end up switching cases in the next couple months to a corsair 900d so I can start water cooling everything

well like i said its a great build....thumb.gif

Go with the Z170 architecture, Intel 6700k CPU, Get a cheaper case. Use the money you save with little to no performance loss and grab another gtx 980 Ti.

He doesnt need a new cpu or new chipset..hell hes running a 5820k..that trumps most other chips into the ground..
Heres solid advise..
Grab another gpu..get your 900d or look at the TT core x71..real beasty of a watercooling case..three qaud rad support almost..front..top..bottom..

Psu..go for evga corsair cooler master..xfx..etc etc..

Get Core X9 from TT instead of X71 if you want a future proof case, with a beast of air/watercooling options..
