I need help

I ordered this power supply for my mini itx build: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00MO675S8/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1454123645&sr=8-1&pi=SX200_QL40&keywords=sfx+600w&dpPl=1&dpID=41NpbEnGQcL&ref=plSrch

It was replacing the 450w version of the same psu.

Now when I received it the fan was broken. The fins were fine but the 4 plastic arms that attach to the mounting square were snapped.

I decided to open up my old one and take the fan out of it and replace it with the new psu with the broken fan. However the models were slightly different even though it was the same fit.

I took photos of both fans and the higher 0.36a fan was broken beyond repair so I moved the 0.18 fan over. Will this cause conflict since its a 600w psu now?

Looking at the different current draws, the fan from the 600w power supply likely spins faster than the one from your old power supply. There isn't a RPM sensor, so it should work as far as the PSU is concerned. There is a chance that it won't cool as well under heavy loads though.

Hmm, okay. Thank you for that piece of information.

Looks like 3200rpm for the 450 fan and 4600 rpm for 600 fan. I think I might need to order a new fan :\
