[Build Log] Parvum Imperial Force - Page 4

Sorry about the quality but I need to get some better lighting for night shooting.

Partially assembled reservoirs to get an idea of what they will look like, they will be mounted on the mid wall.

I was going to use one red and one white. Or I could mix red with white.

What do you think?

They do look nice. thumb.gif

Are you using different colored coolant in each res? If so, I'd say keep the colors separate. If you are using 1 color for the coolant then I'd think mixing the tension rods would look nice.

Originally I was going to do a split loop with red coolant in one and white in the other. But now I'm not sure as there are so many way to approach it.

Interested to hear what others have to say.
The split loop would definitely look nice with the hardware you have. Depending on what you have planned for the GPU's and backplate color (inferring that you will have a watercooled gpu with some sort of colored backplate to match your theme), you could have same, or opposite color coolant going to the the gpu(s). So white backplate-red coolant coming from the white reservior.. or white backplate-white coolant from white res... etc. I'm personally partial to opposite colors myself as I think they pop, but I think with the color combo and the composition anything will look good.

Defiantly red coolant from white res and white from red res.

I was thinking about using GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 980 Ti Gaming G1 with EK-FC980 GTX Ti WF3

CREATOR: gd-jpeg v1.0 (using IJG JPEG v62), quality = 90

Only problem is they only make black or nickel back plates.
Those are definitely nice looking blocks, especially with the coolant running through them. With the backplates you could get the black ones and paint them. Full white or white with some red to match the board. I am by no means good at painting, but found the EK plates (black) took the paint really well and came out really nice.

Make a nice vinyl sticker and get a plain acrylic one from coldzero, or a designed one from them.

Good call i forgot all about coldzero

I'd say keep the white bars on the white res and red bars on the red res, but fill the red res with white coolant and white res with red coolant. thumb.gif
