Hey Erick,

That card is going for $184 used on Amazon.

Put it up for $150 on Amazon and profit and ignore the people here.

I've sold numerous cards this way and as long as it's the cheapest used card of that EXACT TYPE (e.g. Sapphire Vapor-X) it WILL sell for your price within a couple of weeks.

People REALLY still want the Vapor-X cards as they have pretty much the best air coolers available for AMD.

This is why I don't use the marketplace here. Amazon gets my use and I make much more money because garbage people seriously lowball everything here to drive prices down, ESPECIALLY if it's AMD. If people treated Nvidia the same way you'd see the OG Titan for $500 or kingpins for $500 or whatever but that's not the case.

You could even get more for that card on Ebay than what you're being quoted here.

Trust me, I've resold 4 (recent) AMD cards on Amazon and gotten significantly more for them than they sell for here.

The OCN marketplace is trash. Don't use it to sell anything.

Regards.

7970s are going for around $160 on ebay - which is the fair market value. I have no idea why some people here are saying they go for a measly 90 dollars. For $90 you might be able to get 7870 - at best.

Bus width and memory don't really tell the whole story when it comes to performance because it depends on the actual architecture. You're right that 7950 is some cases is faster than a 660Ti, but there are also cases in which 660Ti beats a 7950. After all, not every one of us aims for ultra and applying anti-aliasing.
Also, keep in mind appraisals aren't based solely on pure performance.

Here's a guy that sold his 7970 for 90$ a while back (it's a reference card, but still):

http://www.overclock.net/t/1570721/for-sale-xfx-hd-7970

I've also seen some past sales for about 100-110$ on [H]. I'm not sure I can post [H] links here, but you can use their search tool to find recent classifieds of 7970s.

OCN's marketplace is probably not the best place to consider if you want to get as much as possible for your card. Just go local.

People don't pay here as much as other people pay on eBay, because prices there are sometimes all over the place. Also, sellers have to pay fees, so that might be one of the reasons they raise their prices.
