Zowie EC1-A, FinalMouse or something else?

Thread Starter
Had the Razer Deathadder 2013 for a couple of years but scroll wheel is broken, so I am looking for a replacement.

Bought the Zowie FK1 6 months ago, amazing sensor, weight, stiff buttons (which I like) but I can't get used to it's shape.

Using both fingertip/palm, mostly play CSGO and I am between the EC1-A and the FinalMouse and maybe a SS Rival? Won't be buying Razer again.

Which one would you recommend?

I would go for EC1-A, failing that Rival. The finalmouse is a radically different shape.

For the best build quality, I'd go for Zowie mice. If I were you I would try to choose from the EC1-A and the ZA11. The EC1-A is just a little bigger than the DA but keeps the same shape (I also really like the LED mouse wheel). The ZA11 is approximately as big as the EC1-A only difference is that it is ambidextrous and also "dat ass", the ZA11 has a really big rear making it a comfortable mouse to palm, it is also not forcing you to use a specific grip as the EC series does. Regarding the Finalmouse 2015, it is a great mouse with a grip similar to the Logitech g400s, the only flaw being build quality. It feels really cheap and loose and it is very lightweight, it has a great sensor though. If I were to choose from the three, I would choose the EC1-A because that is the most similar to your DA.

I think that ambidextrous mice are not for me so the ZA11 will probably have the same fate as my FK1.

Currently leaning towards the EC1-A.

Actually, afaik the BenQ EC1-A was never in stock for any retailer, even prior to the recall. You can still buy the huano EC1-A on Amazon, Rexflo, etc.

Each have their pro's & cons so it just depends. I would recommend trying them all & deciding, so you know for sure. I am waiting to see how the Tournament Pro FM is, if it is not to my liking then I shall stick with the Fade Rival.

I'd go for the ec1 the ss rival is really uncomfortable in my opinion unless you have really big hands.

Zowie EC1-A and EC2-A are fantastic mice. I was choosing between these and the finalmouse and decided on the EC2-A. Very satisfied with my decision. thumb.gif

My hands are 20 cm (wrist to middle finger) I guess I should go for the EC1-A, right?
