New laptop, Asus UX305CA? 11-14" Laptop

Hello!

I'm looking to buy a laptop for home & school use with 11-14" screen and 1080p.
My biggest concern is quality, as ive had a HP pavillion laptop whic was utter garbage.
Ive seen that the Asus UX305CA gets alot of good reviews (the one with 8gb ram, 1080p and 6Y30).
Is there any better for the price tho?
My first thoughts was to get a Thinkpad E series, but I read the only Lenovo's that are worth getting are the more expensive Thinkpads, is this true?

WHat's your budget?

Main purpose?

#1 requirement?

What kind of games?

I really like this one but I'm going to end up getting the xps 15 9550.

I wont use it for gaming.
Will use it for home & school work.
Like surfing the web, watching netflix, using different MS Office stuff etc. Not any hard tasks

I'd look at the xps 13 or asus zenbook. Check out reviews on the xps 13. You really can't go wrong. Dell has done a great job reinventing the xps series. My xps 14 is bulky as heck and 5.4lbs with a 14" screen. I think you'd be really happy with either the Dell or asus.
