Hi, guys.

I have a question about use a Corsair Cx430w v2 to my build:

- Intel G3258 @ 4.5 Ghz 1.248v
- Msi z87m gaming
- Sapphire R9 270x 2GB stock
- Crucial Ballistix Elite 1600 mhz 1.5V
- Seagate Barracuda 1 TB 7200 rpm
- Seagate Barracuda 500 GB 7200 rpm

I have no problem if I use the only pcie conector that have the cx and one molex-pci conector?

Thank you biggrin.gif

Just to be safe I would go with a 500w PSU. The recommended psu varies among sources; some say 500 is fine, others say 600 or even 750 is ok, (600 is fine, yeah, but 750 is overkill). Plus, the 430 v2 is a bronze psu

Even 500 watt is overkill as that system wont draw more then 200-250 watts.

And 80 plus has nothing to do with rated output stability or quality for that matter.
Why 80 PLUS® is Irrelevant to You When Buying a PSU

So, can I pick up one better 430w unit? or I must go for 500w?

Mostly of the 430w unit have only one pcie connector, can I use an molex-pci adapter with the original pcie connector or will affect the power supply of my gpu?

Thank you, guys!
