Reusing "old" parts

Thread Starter
Hey! About a year ago I bought a couple of alphacool 560 rads and a dcp 4.0 to boost the loop's flow rate. I used them for a while externally but then decided to change back to a more compact setup. I am now considering using them again. When storing them I forgot to seal them up - I just emptied them and let the fittings on and they have been sitting in their boxes for about 9 months now. Are they "safe" to flush and use again or am I going to run into corrosion issues?

They'll be perfectly fine to reuse. Just give them a nice thorough flush and you'll be good to go. I've done the same with some old XSPC rads I had lying around. No ill effects.

it's fine. I stored some rads for a year and they were still fine... give it a good cleaning first.

How did you store them? Did you just let them dry and then sealed off the plugs?
