[GameGPU]The Division - Performance test - Page 12

All I see are people crying about graphical fidelity of the game or lack of. When people should be talking about the content of the game. Honestly this game doesn't look interesting at all and it basically looks like a slightly more in-depth destiny which is probably what you're going to get. The dark zone concept is kind of interesting but I guarantee you you're just going to have people griefing you when you trying to upload your loot.

I have some kind of hope that there is more than just human AI / real people for enemies and that the game has some kind of depth to it, but I don't know. Every video I've seen looks good and the game looks like it'd be fun - for a while. I don't personally care how good it looks; I want depth and something to keep me engaged for more than a day.

I had read that Ubi was putting something in place to prevent griefing...(and of course to prevent the cheating that's killing the beta)

What are you waiting for, aliens, zombies, mutations running on ceilings? The game's set around a real world possible disaster lol.

"looks like it'd be fun - for a while." This seems to be the statement for Most AAA titles now days. Especially games that rely on the player needing to grind out better gear. Which is basically what it is. Its the MMO methodology of resting on the players drive to play the game purely for the purpose of getting "better loot" and dealing "higher DMG".

I can respect games like BF4 and COD because its the kills and combat that really brings you back. There is a grindly element to unlocking weapons but its only for a short time. This and Destiny are just hollow. No thought is put into the story and they just paste one together at the last minute. I would probably buy this if I can get it for under 30.

Darkzone is just a PVP map with some loot. Then you all fight over who gets the extraction. Honestly doesnt sound fun at all.

Not even that honestly. In the mentioned "dark zone" i encountered enemies once.

The rest of the time it was me and other players running around basically doing nothing because the game is empty.

It really looks like a really boring game, atleast to me.

Probably a result of the very limited beta they releases. Im guessing people played it for la few hours and got bored.

Sorry you had a poor time in the game. My DarkZone experience was mixed variations of raging gunfights through the streets between rival Rogue groups (6+ players in separate groups on each side), rooftop shootouts across the street during extractions, and group PvE w/ the elite enemies at the DarkZone chest locations. I thought it was fun, but we'll see how the final version pans out. Was happy to get some playtime in while helping test and voice the opinion about the demo on their polls.

Well the one story mission, 3 or 4 side missions and the like 6 encounters take a couple hours to complete. So assuming there triple the content at a minimum which i'm fairly certain there will be there is going to be 20hrs or so of single player stuff to do. Then assume i get 10-15 hours of fun in the darkzone I wouldn't be mad at the price. I'm hoping it sticks around becuase I enjoyed it.

The darkzone will level out, I rarely got attacked while extracting and when it did happen I could see it coming half the time. I had more experiences hunting down rogue agents with like 6 other people then I did getting killed by them.

Edit: My one real gripe is how empty the world felt in the beta. I hope there are more random encounters and stuff.
