Why is 980Ti placed above Fury X at 2560x1440, when Fury X is faster?

Nvidia sponsorship website confirmed. wink.gif

Does it have the technical features they advertised? How does the product run itself? Those sort of questions.

Once upon a time "Beta" was considered to be just that, a Beta. A near complete product, any version of Beta being potentially moved to RC. A point in development where the major systems and components were fleshed out. Not a gaming missing half the technical features advertised, or one with massive performance issues across the entirety of the hardware spectrum.

A prime example, that isn't Ubisoft, is Destiny. A mere few months before release the whole thing (damn near) is scrapped due to a lawsuit. Resulting in a complete mess.

But people keep throwing their wallets.......

Why is this trash? Since when do technical reasons affect if a game is fun or not? Some of you make me wish I had a different hobby in truth, such drivel posted at times. Makes you seem extremely hollow.

Lets take a different approach, in my opinion - both your rigs are downgraded.

Not talking about just the downgrades. You obviously don't recall the crappy optimization, onslaught of bugs, Uplay crashing making the game unplayable for days, the hideous graphical glitches, Low Res Textures on NPC models, in addition to the downgrade. Ubisoft games are terrible at release. The Division isn't any different. If you like poor quality then go ahead an buy Ubisoft games. Its your money. Not all of us like to pay $60 for bad games. IMO Ubisoft is worse than EA.

What game? Context, man. Come on. Anyone can make blanket statements.

I had no issues with Syndicate or Farcry 4. I waited a few months before playing Unity and had no problems playing that either. All of which has nothing to do with the Division and how many people enjoyed the beta.

Game worked fine,no crashes, had decent FPS. Boring, but that is subjective.

Oh wait,it's trash now because it runs poorly on Nvidia cards. rolleyes.gif

Why are you wasting your time posting multiple times about a game that you consider trash?

"You can disable certain lighting aspects to improve frame rates in the console versions," an Ubisoft developer said as part of this Team Epiphany preview (via NeoGAF). "I don't know of another game that does that. So if you want to choose frame rate over visuals, you can if you want."

"One good thing about The Division is we've always considered the PC as a separate platform," the developer went on to say. "We do have to keep it in check with the consoles; it would be kind of unfair to push it so far away from them. But it's been good having a dedicated PC build for this game."

I happened to have been reading the NeoGaf thread where the video was posted.

It doesn't surprise me, seeing as the PC version isn't leaps and bounds above the console version.

You didint understand. I am excluding the division from this conversation because it is an ubisoft game. They have to release a good game for years. I am with you on this. I am just talking about the performance of 780 in general without ubisoft games

I am genuinely interested in how Kepler "sucks" now. What changed, because we know the drivers didn't "gimp" anything as people try to say. So, if nothing changed with the hardware, and it didn't suck before, why now?

280x(7970) near the performance of 780/Titan and you are okay with that? That should never happen no matter what.

for some reason the GTX 780 TI has the smallest perf hit , maybe because it was the top end card but still lost a 3%
