tested through gaming, and i did a swipe test; like i moved the mouse very slow from edge to edge of the mouse pad than back again fast, and see how close the it comes back to the place i shot at first (used csgo) and i can confirm corsair M65 has no acceleration; between it and g502 which i have tested too i could not find any variances, both are deadly accurate and both have zero acceleration.

okay one last thing, why the steelseries sensei (it has the avego 9800 laser sensor) is among the most popular mice used by pro/esport csgo player?

Because shape is more important than sensor performance? And again, pro cs players - aim is like 10-20% of why they are good. Much more important is the ability to read the game.

9800 doesnt have acceleration per se. It has speed related variance. Its inconsistent by about 5%. Most people will never know it. And missed flick shots can be attributed to human error. But a bench test will yield unsatisfactory results.

That test will have a lot of human error involved plus y axis movement.

It's not. The Sensei is a rare sight at this point, has been that way for a few years now. It's so disliked by pros that SteelSeries hasn't felt the need to make another Sensei mouse when most pros choose the Rival over the Sensei.

Also the only Sensei to use the 9800 is the MLG edition. The rest are 9500.

i thinks its still popular enough to prove that laser mice are good enough to be used competitively, even if its not that popular now, it was the most popular during its glory days and no one used to complain abt it, either ways it still proves the point i wanna prove, laser mice are not your enemy, laser mice can be good or bad like optical ones too can be good or bad. smile.gif

There is like 3 pros using the Sensei. The Sensei is that rare. There's many more Rivals, DeathAdders and Zowie mice.

I think the initial influx of the Xai/Sensei was because of sponsorship/money. Then the casual user bought into the hype. The people who kept using it did so because of the shape, then when an alternative arrived they switched.
