We promised you we would take two of our highest end GPUs and put it inside that tiny box and if you go downstairs we actually have a demonstration of a dual GPU, 12 TeraFlops, fastest GPU solution in the world, inside of Tiki. It's a feat of engineering we are delighted with".

AMD's Roy Taylor said that the Radeon R9 Fury X2 has around 12 TFLOPS of SP, compared to the Radeon R9 295X2 which has 11.5 TFLOPS of SP compute performance. The big difference between the Fiji-based R9 Fury X2 and the Hawaii-based R9 295X2 is that the Fury X2 uses only 375W of power, compared to the R9 295X2 which would chew 500W.

Looks like 2 R9 Nano's rather than Fury X's, guessing from the power usage.

Unless it's $750 or less, I'll wait to replace my GTX 690 for the next generation Nvidia Titan model. AMD waited way too long to release the Fury X2 to make ITX users, like myself, excited about it.

Here's hoping this comes with a completely overhauled crossfire and dx11 driver. They're taking their time, after all.

Considering they supposedly broke it in a bunch of games with the Crimson driver release, it seems smart they didn't rush to release it. thumb.gif

Here's where waiting for 'FuryX2 ready' drivers is the smartest stance to take.

It's that simple: They don't significantly work on CrossfireX, and it's not a compelling purchase, or they do, and it might be, depending on price.

You know it's the same die, right?

Yes, I do. Same die, different power delivery/management.
(also, allegedly, binned differently)

What I was implying is that its probably going to be closer to crossfired Nano's than Fury X's.
