New Fans, Need Help Setting up

So I recently got myself a nice case labs Merlin SM8. After 3 months my San Ace fans finally arrived. Problem with the fans is I am at a loss of how to attach the 3 pin connectors to the leads and in what order i should do them in. I have red yellow and black wires. I assume red and black are voltage. Yellow is probly ground or control. trying to find a how to on something so simple is proving fruitless unfortunately. It almost feels like i am missing a component. And maybe more unsettling i keep on coming across power warnings So can someone double check these will not fry my EVGA X99 classified?

The color code is not always accurate, but the pin positions to what they are is.
Pin-1 = ground
Pin-2 = power
Pin-3 = rpm signal from fan.
