I've been out from gaming for a long time, how is the sensor war nowadays ? I have a da 2013 (unopened) and I need to decide between buying a chroma or a logitech g303, which one has the best sensor nowadays in terms of delay/smoothing and all the crap we've been *****ing for years ?

The 3366 is generally renowned as the best sensor on the market currently.

Yes but in terms of implementation and stuff, I've read that the 303 suffers from sensor rattle (in one video at youtube), is that true ?

Yea it does but it's still pretty good, check out this vid on it

If anything you could just wait for the Rival 700....even if it is gimmicky the 3360 looks promising.

The newer batches apparently have the sensor rattle fixed, the sensor rattle doesn't always affect the mouse's performance, you can put some tape on the bottom of your G303 (make sure it doesn't leave any residue) and give it a shake, if the cursor moves then there's probably something wrong with that G303.

well if it suffers from sensor rattle i won't pay 80 bucks for a defective mouse lol, I think I'll go for a razer chroma.

edit: what about all those new zowie mice ?

$80? I got mine from eBay (I bought it from Best Buy) for $30 and it was a $30 well spent, but it will probably be more expensive if you're in a European country.

I'm currently living in south america, prices in premium stuff like gaming mice are so high here.

Well, you could either go with the G303 that may or may not be defective but has guaranteed RMA, or go with the Deathadder which may or may not have RMA but is guaranteed defective.

how is the da defective ? at all reviews it seems like the perfect mouse, I'm in the seek for a 3.0 cursor feeling and a high trancking rates, all inside the shell of something similar to the deathadder, is there anything like that nowadays ?
