Help! PC won't boot with new SSD installed

So today I ordered a PNY CS2211 SSD off Amazon and I received today with same day shipping. I wanted to use it for my documents as my external drive just wasn't cutting it anymore. The SSD came with Acronis True Image software that I used to clone my external drive to my SSD. After the cloning was finished I restarted my computer because in "my computer" the drive wasn't showing up anymore, only the external drive. I clicked restart and it wouldn't boot up with the new "cloned" SSD installed. It wouldn't even show me the MSI splash screen. I unplugged the new SSD and it booted up fine but when I plug it back in it doesn't boot at all. Help!

Edit: Now I am trying to see what I can do if I plug in the SSD with a sata to usb adapter.

I'd try to format if it shows up again and try to clone again.. It's rare a ssd doesn't show in bios.

It's either a very simple problem in partitions or a bad ssd. They are getting so cheap I don't see QC being any good. Pny is a good example.

I fixed the problem before you posted, I formatted it while having plugged in with the sata to usb adapter. Next, instead of cloning it using the software I just copy and pasted the files. It's working great now. Thanks for your suggestion though.

Cool, that's what I usually do. Just drag all the files over lol. Cloning would be more for like 5tb of files imo.
