AlphaCool Reservoirs

Thread Starter
I'm looking to get a new Res on my rig that will take my pump. I currently have a Swiftech MCP 655-B pump and was looking to grab a bigger bay res. I really liked the look of the AlphaCool Eisfach dual reservoir. I've been a bit out of the saddle for buying parts and I wanted to make sure that the 1/4" connector thread was the same thing as the G 1/4" thread on my Monsoon Chain Gun Compression fittings. I know it's a silly question but I really wanted to make sure I was buying something compatible with my system. Thanks!

Yes 1/4 is G1/4. All mainstream W/C manufacturers are on the same page when fittings size comes into play.

Thank you both for posting the G 1/4" confirm made me feel a lot better about the res and the product video confirmed that it'll be the res that I buy. How difficult is it to add D5 pump to the res? I've been looking for video tutorials on mounting pumps similar to mine into bay reservoirs but I haven't been able to find any.

It´s quiet easy and they included an english manual. This guy shows how to mount an Alphacool top, the process is very similar to mount the res.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dgqi84LBLlM

and he´s got an older alphacool bay res. where he shows how it works:

most important is, not no overtighten the screws!

i got a discount code for u in case you want to order at Aquatuning.us ( 5% off): 02Aqua2016US

Alphacool have really stepped up their game with this new generation of pump reservoirs. The previous models were just terrible, but these seem quite a good beginners option.

Lots of ports and useful functionality. The front fill port on a bay res is something only Koolance has done previously in their more expensive models.
Don't look too bad also.
