Projects of the Month for February 2016 - Page 4

poem never stays down long. it has a website issue like once a day for 30 minutes or so.

I ran out of Collatz tasks on one rig, switched to POEM but didn't get any task for over an hour.

So now one rig is running POEM.

My three other rigs running Collatz still working on their last tasks but I'm guessing I'll switch them soon!

I just noticed that one rig restarted and suspected a crash only to find Win10 did an update!

At least it didn't wait until I went to bed!

Nevermind, Poem is down too. More SQL connection errors...

Looks like it is back up.  I caught one of their website errors earlier, but unless you happen to be logging in at just the right moment, you can go for months without ever noticing the issue.

I finally got around to putting Collatz back on after the driver update, and it seems to be working fine. I probably could have avoided the problem, but that's what happens when the distro drivers don't work for BOINC. tongue.gif

POTM Update

Cosmology@Home

Start: 34 - Goal: 32 - Currently: 34  |  We are on pace to move up to 33rd, but it will take a bit more crunching to get to 32nd.

SRBase

Start: 40 - Goal: 30 - Currently: 37  |  We are on pace to move up a few more spots. :thumb: The goal was pretty random, since there wasn't much history to look at.  Great job so far. :D

Collatz Conjecture

Start: 8  - Goal: 7 - Currently: 7   |  Goal Achieved!!!  We had a nice boost from the BGB, and our threats list is empty.

One of my Cosmology@home tasks won't upload. Event log says: Error reported by file upload server: can't open file. All the other tasks are downloading and uploading just fine. Is this on my end or server-side?

I would guess it's on the server end. I am not too familiar with these new Vbox tasks, because all of my points previous to this month were on the old app.

I would let it stay in the queue if it's not interfering with downloading or uploading other tasks. It may clear itself up, and if it doesn't you can just abort it after a day or two.

I'll get some more cores on Cosmology when I get home from work. Still got some of my cards working on POEM...oops..project is Colletz this month. I keep going back into the January thread. tongue.gif

POEM works too, since Gridcoin is still threatening our #3 spot. ;)

Finally got around to installing Virtual Box on my Linux system. Cosmology runs a whole lot better than when I was running the legacy app, I had some of those go over 200,000 seconds..
