And make sure your case airflow is supply air to components that is only a few degrees warmer than room. In most cases (no pun) the difference is way more than most people think. Component cooling intake air temps in my build are between 2 & 5c warmer than room Most builds out there are 9-20c warmer.
Someone repped me for this post and wanted to know how to apply it to AIO/CLC coolers. It's really the same as with air. Supply the radiator with air as close to room ambient as possible. Just be sure all components that need cooling get air a cool as possible. Monitoring component temps is only part of it The air temps at components need to be checked too. 2nd post is "Ways to Better Cooling" shows what I use .. sometimes 3 of them.

Hmm,well i guess you won't be providing comparisons then...
Well i already knew a few posts ago that the X41/61 was among if not the quietest, thanks and sorry again for repeating it, i think we have understood now.

So you have already made a similar gpu bracket system as discussed? If yes, Could you tell a tiny bit more , it might slightly be a tiny weeny bit far-related to the thread .

They are all very literally the same product with some firmware differences and different fans bundled.

I used zip-ties initially, then purchased D-woods bracket (no longer available, g40 is a clone). You can find a lot of information in the linked threads. Richie_2010 is making brackets now, if you want to go that route.

Still, would never do it again, and would highly advise considering MK-26, Morpheus, or similar, unless you are constrained by space (you aren't smile.gif), as they are quieter and perform better.

I am not sure why you are so concern about vrm temp if you plan to go g10 +aio, especially on a nvidia card.

I had also used the Morpheus on the 290 with the reference midplate. Even then, the vrm tend to stay above the core.

Out of hg10, g10 and morpheus(tried all 3), hg10 would be my last choice, the blower fan(from ref 290) is simply garbage performance and sound wise.

I didn't do test extensively for clc vs Morpheus but I remember the clc does do better, in a case that it. In open bench, it is a different story. It is just impossible to make air in the case cool enough with essentially a huge top down cooler.

BTW, the Morpheus is not that big compare to the heatsink on the air fury.

So what's the question, I am kind of lost.

The g10 thread here on ocn have some feedback on pumps. The h55 is the standard in term of performance, noise and price.

-yes, i'm aware that some people responding to the thread are very knowledgeable, i am thankful of them to come and post answers, what saddens me is that their knowledge is wasted by not answering my questions : I asked for a comparison of pump noise of aio systems, what i got was critics of the bracker-aio systems and arguments for air coolers or custom loops, a few people still tried to answer my question like@claes and especially @baii, now i wish knowleadgeable person shared their knowledge the same way (by simply answering my question) as, and i am not joking in any way, may have more experience with these products than they sound they have.

TD:DR, please, i knew from the start there are alternative to aio brackets, you dont need to detail them to me, simply answer my question and i will then decide what to do with that info, thanks

I already posted the reviews, and, literally, just above the post you just made, posted evidence to the contrary (l2r?). This is what margins of errors are for, and typically points to the difference between an open test bench and a closed chassis, but I don't feel that this needs to be demonstrated any further than the 40 or so reviews I posted.

Perhaps instead of always engaging in a reactionary air-cooling politics you might try tempered reason? It's much more persuasive to curious users than beating your head against a wall in an effort to establish proof. Have a nice day thumb.gif
The link is not data, but a few graphs of temps. Nothing about cooler / radiator intake air temps. And without knowing the air temp gong into cooler we have no idea how well the coolers are actually performing. The temps only show us the system's performance.

My bottom-line, having used a bunch of AIOs to cool hot/noisy GPUs:

All CLCs are basically the same, don't outperform a good aftermarket air cooler in any significance, and are noisy.
The best/quietest CLCs, IMO, are the x41/x61. However, they are still noisy/intrusive, even when undervolted.

I only even bothered with a CLC because I was running an SLI setup. Had I had the slot-space, I would've just grabbed some MK-26s or similar.

Personally I will never purchase a CLC again and see no performance or noise benefit (not a ratio, either, as absolutes) in doing so. I might grab some sort of future pump-less CLC for SFF builds, but a lack of space is the only practical application I see for CLCs.

Now you say there is little or no difference. thumb.gif

Do you know of any sources that actually do this besides yourself? AFAIK there are none.

P.S. There were 20+ sources in there that offered similar results, but across difference test beds (thus my disclaimer), but you know that. rolleyes.gif

2*-3* on the core, just like any other CLC in any other application. VRMs are cooled better on air, as shown in different environments.

Uhhh okay? Thanks for reassuring me i guess ? Have i created something new or something ? Does he ever get offended?

Also, could you please from now on indicate what part is concerned when you say any aio is noisy, i only need to know for the pump (repeating myself for clarity sake : can undervolt fans, change em)
