Most quiet 120mm AIO Cooler? Wall mounted PC

Thread Starter
Hi all, I have a computer that I built a few years ago into a bit of a custom wall-mount type of thing (for those of you concerned, I know its not necessarily built to its best spec- it's been assembled from parts salvaged from old or other computer and was made years ago, so it's not up to date, high-performance, or even necessarily ideal - but it WAS pretty cheap! - Picture below for those interested).
My dilemma is now that its been a couple years, the budget-on-sale cooler master seidon 120mm AIO pump is becoming very loud and very irritating (it was never SILENT, but quiet enough that with the TV on, which is what this is connected to, you couldn't hear it).
Unfortunately I don't have the extra money to do significant upgrades at present, but I've decided I can go no longer with this annoying pump noise, and it's time to replace it. Due to the constraints of the "case", as you can see, my options are more or less limited to another 120mm AIO cooler, which is why I am hoping that you folks might be able to suggest an AIO cooler of this description that will not be very loud!
I appreciate all suggestions!

Can you squeeze in a 140mm? The more rad surface area you have, the less fan speed you need for the same result....so, quieter. If you could fit it, the NZXT X41 would be a good choice.

A 140mm rad would fit (just have to drill the holes for it), but behind that board there is a vented channel that goes out the top of the frame for the airflow/heat, which would need to be remade. So with that amount of work I really would prefer to stick to 120mm, but the fan that is on there (corsair quiet edition) is turned down way slow anyways, as heat hasn't been a huge issue (sandy bridge i5 NOT overclocked- I mainly use this machine for plex, netflix, streaming, and games that I play on it have lately been using steam in home streaming from my desktop since this machine only has a 750ti).
The real issue noise-wise has been the pump, but the NZXT X41 has a fairly quiet pump? I'll have to check and see if maybe there is a 120mm version

Ah, pump noise is a different matter. You essentially have two choices - Cooler Master or Asetek (Corsair, NZXT, Zalman, etc). Personally, I find the Cooler master pumps far more tolerable to listen to than the Aseteks.

If there is no extreme OC there. then the Corsair H60 2013 edition will be good choice.. you shouldn't hear the pump at all but the seidon is junk AIO from cooler master...

The H60 is essentially a 3 generation earlier version of the NZXT X31 with a much louder fan and pump. The "2013" kind of tips you off that it probably isn't a great choice in 2016. Since quiet is the goal here, Corsair would be the last option among all of these coolers on the market that are simply the same unit with different fans.

Well the pump isn't noisy on the H60 since the pump on the H60 & H80i & H100i is the same.. mine have H100I and no pump noise at all... for the fan's if you look at the OP picture you will see silent fan on the cooler master AIO and i'm sure that one will be used on the new AIO..

Sorry, my mistake. That is a CoolIT unit. The X61 and his current CM pumps are quieter.

So the NZXT X31 and Corsair H60 are both quieter than the seidon I have now, but the NZXT is an updated design and quieter than the Corsair?

No. The NZXT and your current unit are both quieter than the H60.
