Revoltec fight mouse

Thread Starter
I have bought a Revoltec Fight Mouse Elite for gaming, it has a button for DPI changes from 500 to 5000 which is great, until I upgraded my windows from 7 to 8, and then 10... The drivers must be screwed up (the newest ones) as special button works anymore on the mice, and the DPI is constantly at max (5000).

It wasn't a big problem in gaming while I was on my 1920 x 1080 screen, but changing a monitor to 3440 x 1440 ... well, I can't play games anymore - the mouse is way too sensitive.

What can I do about it?

Have you tried running the driver installer in compatibility mode for win 7?

Huh, I didnt know such option exist - I used it but it still doesn't work though... I guess the mice is just broken, no idea why. Is there a way to lower DPI?

Use povohat's interceptor and set the post-scale to 0.1 for 500 DPI. The 5000 DPI step probably has smoothing, so that will still be there.

The link above I think is the driver for your mouse, tested on win 10, everything seemed to install fine.

You people worry too much about VAC without knowing how it works, yes it's fine, I used it for months on CEVO & VAC servers, never tried ESEA because I don't want to pay for a rootkit anti-cheat when I play the game rarely.

Right were "Worrying too much" because there a disclaimer on the povohat blogsite stating there might be a VAC risk. Ok buddy.

Alternatively you could have checked the comments because I already said it was fine there, but that's too hard. rolleyes.gif

You didn't read my post, you didn't read the comments and Kovak hasn't updated the site, oh the irony.

Next time I recommend reading before you ask questions, saves you time (and apparently you wouldn't need anger management courses if you read.) and saves me from repeating myself.
