Pretty easy to be confused between the two versions as the shells are pretty much identical. The sensors on the other hand are completely different

Well I guess I'll never know for 100% sure, but I'm like 90% sure it was in a rectangle. If I remember correctly mine said "Intellimouse Optical 1.1A" on the bottom and actually the most identical I can find to what I remember mine looking like on the bottom is

I use the 450CPI on my WMO always. If I'm using a better mouse I use 1800CPI or 1600CPI at 3/11 windows so I can go lower on desktop.

This is on triple 1080p displays.

Oh yes they do. Pretty much any 2.8m/s+ swipe will make them malfunction and that's easy to do. Below that they neg accel till 1.6m/s.

Are you kidding, using programs to change sensitivity? That would destroy our smoothing-free wmo experience... Any non-1:1 mouse reporting method should be illegal.

for me it wasn't that hard to get used to 400cpi after using 800cpi for years. (using two 1080 monitors.)
however there is no way i'm getting used to these horrible mouse feet biggrin.gif

anyway, the cursor will feel heavy in the beginning, but you're used to it before you know it. no worries!

i use 400 dpi with 5/11 on a dual monitor setup.

5. Open the sweetlow driver, click install service, set your desired polling rate, and finally click restart device.

Now you should check if the polling rate set with mouserate.exe

Did the first four steps. Should there not be a watermark in the bottom right corner of my screen that says "test mode"?
Any other way to check if test mode is on!?

nvmd, it's there now

Thread Starter
So, got it working the way it should, so far I like the feel of the sensor. VERY raw, and it's so god damn accurate, like nailing every shot.

My only question is can I go back to normal mode, and the driver be ok? Or do I have to leave it test mode, security boot disabled, etc?

Nope. I swipe well over 5m/s and no malfuntions occur. Just speed cap.
