4690k, kernel power error 41

Running at 4.6, 1.29v. Ran fine, stable in real bench and in extended play of GTA V.

Then today I ran Realbench and it crashes repeatedly after >10 minutes with kernel power error 41.

I dialed back the OC a little, testing x41 at 1.285 right now.

Any ideas why i was getting that error? I'd love to run 4.6 as my temps were in the mid to low 60s, but if it keeps crashing...

Put in your system specs so we can get a better idea of the situation...biggrin.gif

I think you will get that error if the computer restarted without being able to bugcheck. This can be that the processor can't respond or the memory failed.

What is your input (vccin) voltage?

There was no other error or bugcheck in the logs?

The core was set at 1.29v. No other errors to speak of.

Not the core voltage, the input voltage vccin. What is that set to?

You might want to bump that up to 1.8 with the core voltage you have.
