Let me know i would like to beable to do 60ish FPS at 4k med. setting or better of course.

Do you dislike Nvidia or something since there are no Nvidia cards on your poll.
Just asking nothing more.

As for which card you might as well start thinking about two cards as one wont be able to do 60 FPS at 4K.
Not if you want to play the newest games and turn everything to max.

No ive had both camps cards for some reason ive always just enjoyed having amd over nvidia. Mostly because i like supporting the underdog and i think there products are equal to nvidia just dont get the hype.

or you can hold for 2016 video cards because few card setups get 60fps on max settings ,maybe on medium but if you can spend 650usd on a video why not wait for the best?

Even the current cards fall short of your requirements most of the time. The Fury i think is your best option if you dont want to wait, but you still will need to drop some settings. By the sound of it though, that is not what you want to do. Like PoniaxGTX recommends, wait out till polaris. At least then, you'll have much horse power to run 4k.

I was thinking about waiting but i am going to sell my 290X Lightning (love the card but hitting the 4gb limit on 1440p) and just get a Fury pro or 2 390 8gb for now so im only really spending 300$ right now and can at least run decent fps 4k (medium/high) settings.

According to Tom's Hardware, the Radeon R9 Fury X or the GeForce 980 Ti are your best bets for playable UHD. That or wait for pascal (or the Radeon equivalent) to drop later this year.

Thats the best route i think. You have something better in the mean while. A 5-11 month wait is a long time.

*get the sapphire nitro fury. i think its best version.

most games are fine at 1440 with 4GB...you should be using too much AA which is overkill past 4x on 1440

and Fiji only has 4GB...

On ROTR i use FXAA i dont run MSAA at all. With almost max settings im hitting the 4gb wall i have to back some things down to high to get it down to around 3.2gb so it doesnt studder. But HBM actually works different in memory compression so having 4gb HBM isnt the same as GDDR5. I think im going for FuryX but im still trying to decide.
