Looks like the G910 has a $179.99 MSRP and the G810 has a $159.99 MSRP here in the states. However, the G910 street price right now is $139.99 making it a far better value. Hopefully when the G810 has been out for a bit we will see it drop to under $120. It looks like a great keyboard but hard to justify $150+ given the steep competition in that same price range.

No, I hate glossy but this looks kinda cheap, at least in this video. Cooler Master Master Keys Pro looks way better and it's almost the same design.

Picked up the G810 today and well...

I don't get why you guys are calling this cheap, its like the razer haters calling the Blackwidow crap all the time when its actually pretty damn nice kb.

Anyways lets get the few things I hate out of the way
1. The USB Cable is on the thinner braided side of things. I guess I'm so used to thicker cables but meh. Still better than the short rubber one you get on the G910. Also its not detachable, but this is something that doesn't bother me.
2. The glossy sides... why couldn't they have left it the same as the top? The top is a smooth matte black finish. Not like that of the Razer Blackwidow that shows smudges but just a straight Matte black finish without a rubbery or grippe feel to it.
3. The body reminds me of all the other generic bodies out there. I like a little bit of flare but I'm on my own on that one as most of you like your goods as boring as it can get.
4. Doesn't come with a detachable wrist rest. At this price point I kind of expect one. Guess I'll have to use my own.

With that said the Romer G switches on this feels strangers vs the G910... They feel like they have far less travel than that of the G910 and don't have the "mushy" feel but more of a tactile feel. I know that shouldn't be since they didn't change anything from the previous G910 Romer G Switch to these but its probably because of this body its giving off that like feeling.
The LED illumination is great. Since the Romer G was made with LED lights in mind no Cherry LED or the newer Cherry RGB lighting can match or even compare to how clear these lights come through. Very nice if you're really into that kind of thing.
Also to all of you calling it cheap, it feels no less cheap vs the likes of the CM Novatouch and WASD/CODE KB. Solid sturdy plastic that gives zero flex and the nice rubber on the bottom and nice thunk when hit the back.

Also just to point out again the G910 is now going for 139.99. This is a GREAT PRICE for a GREAT keyboard. I love the Romer G switch also and suggest you guys try it out and you also get a key to The Division that you can either play or sell on ebay. Honestly I find the body of G910 > G810. I just couldn't stand the crap keycaps on the G910 and I think I'm gonna swap them around now.

I will probably go to Fry's or Micro Center this weekend and try out a G910's key switch to see if I like it.

Like what?

I have BW Chroma and it does feel cheap. The matte finish they use get super dirtly very fast. My G710+ feels so much higher quality in general. All razer stuff feels cheap to me compare to logitech but i do love the look and keys of Chroma.

How long is the G910 cable if the 810 is longer? Wouldn't want to have to use an extension.

They make normal keycaps to replace the angled stock ones. They are kinda expensive at $40, but you can at least do something about it and get regular keycaps. I'm debating on picking a set up.

It's plenty long imo. It's a thick rubber cable, but I have had no problems with the length.
