Another block flow question

I was searching the forums about a concept that I want to possibly consider for making my loop look cleaner. I would like to have my tubing go into the outlet block of my GPU and to the inlet block on my SSD block. The SSD is quite a bit shorter than my GPU and I want the run to be as linear as possible. I read from the quoted post below that it wouldn't affect the GPU performance, but I wanted to clarify.

In your sketch there's no "loop". just two lines that end.
What are the black things at the top? Is that the rad? Inlet and outlet? What's the flow direction. Where is the pump?

True, loop order makes little difference because the water's temperature anywhere in a loop will be within 1/2°c.

As for running the water "backwards" through a block, if the manufacturer specifies a flow direction then that's not recommended.

And why on earth would you be cooling an SSD, they generate minuscule amounts of heat!

Sorry I guess my I didn't explain things as I saw them in my head. So the pump and the res are in the back (corsair 540 case) I added some labels and arrows. Hope this helps better clarify.




So in this image the tubing would flow from the CPU into the Outlet on the GPU block, and then out the in. Next in the outlet of the ssd and again out the in. I'm cooling an intel pcie 750. I read that they can produce significant heat. Even if they don't produce wc needing heat it will add to the internal ascetics.

Again, if the block's manufacturer recommends a specific flow direction I'd follow that.

But if you're just watercooling for aesthetics - what the hack, anything goes.

I would either find a block that supports the flow order you want (EK blocks go from left to right) or just flip the block upside down.

I was reading a post about someone was getting temp readings on the Intel 750 up to 60C, with the operating max temp at 70C specked out by intel it might be beneficial.
