Will the icore 7 6700k handle 3200mhz ram?

Ive been buying parts for the lga 1151 socket, I assumed the new skylake CPU's could handle high ddr4 3200mhz ram. Has anyone overclocked to where they can use 3200mhz ram or even boot their system it without overclocking the CPU using the 6700k?

Ive had bad experiences with trying to get my icore 7 3770 currently to even run 2400mhz ram had to settle for 2000mhz so I'm really worried. If I have to overclock to get that speed then I'm gonna swap to water cooling for the CPU which I know nothing about.

I've had no problems with 3866MHz on the few 6700Ks I've used so far, 3200 should be a breeze.

Great to know I hope I can just enable the xmp profile and all goes well. Question for you though if I overclock to 4.5ghz think a custom cooler fan and three to four system fans is good enough to maintain safe temps? Or should I try water cooling.

well they get kinda hot(at least my 6600k does) and ram is fine too...running 3000 no problems. maybe manually set whitout xmp? i mean timing can be improved a lot.

Ive run my ram at 3733/3200/3400/3600 and a variety of timings.

No issues.

Check the memory link in my sig.

For the voltage required for 4.5ghz I would not think you would need watercooling no.
