Replacing surface pro 3 cracked screen?

Thread Starter
So my surface pro 3 took a fall on the top left corner and put a crack down the top left side about 4 inches long and the top left corner touch does not work. Is it possible to replace the screen without having to send it in to microsoft and have to pay their excessive fees to replace?

Possible, you would have to find a local shop that specializes in glass screen repairs for things such as smart phones. They may end up ordering the part and replacing the cracked glass screen.

What's Microsoft's fee to replace? They charged $300 for my Surface Pro 2 when I busted the screen which isn't that bad considering the price of the device.

From what I was reading on microsoft's website It was saying 400 for the surface pro 3. Worst case scenario I will send it in to them. For now I can just use it as a laptop and not the touch or tablet mode.
