Strange Buzz noise!

Hi All.

I recently got a different case but something and I can't quite figure out what's making my computer make quite a deep buzz.

Parts replaced are the case, I got some new Noctua 120mm fans for my CPU and I'm now using a Corsair 650W PSU instead of an Antec 850W PSU.

It's definitely not coil noise. It's much lower in pitch. More like a whine.

I think it may still be my GPU though as when I move something on the screen it changes in pitch and gets a little bit worse when running heaven benchmark.
The weird part is that it's sometimes no there at all. But most of the time it's present.

Feeling my backplate of my GPU it feels very hot when running heaven. Is that normal for a backplate to get hot?

Any suggestions?

System Specs:
CPU: Intel i7 3930k @ 4.2Ghz
CPU Coolant: Corsair H100 with 2x Noctua NF-P12 PWM
RAM: Kingston 16GB (4x4GB DIMMS) 2400Mhz @ 11,13,14,30,1
MOBO: ASUS ROG Rampage 4 Formula
GPU: Gigabyte 980ti
SSD: 60GB OCZ 550MB Up 450MB Down
HDD: x2 Seagate Barracuda 2TB

Help!

If the "buzz" or "whine" changes pitch with action on the screen, it is most certainly GPU coil whine. As long as you're describing the symptoms correctly, the GPU would be the cause.

It's normal for the backplate to be warm.
Sometimes, you may not get any noticeable buzz, depending on the action on the screen.

You might have noises from multiple sources, i've had GPU whine and vibration from a case fan before

So I removed my CPU only to find that my H100 is making an annoying noise as well. I think I'm hearing that when I'm at desktop.

In terms of in heaven benchmark I think I must be getting coil noise but I'm getting it in frame rates of 80-170FPS? That's not normal surely?

Fan ticking and pump noise don't fluctuate with fps or action on the screen. You may very well have more than one noisy component. But, the buzzing that goes up and down with the fps and game action is certainly from gpu coil whine.
