Nice peice bud. Wish i had the funds to take the skylake dip. Son could use an upgrade as he is still rocking the phenomii x4 970 and msi am3+ mobo. Although, surprisingly, his machine is still capable of running latest games at 1080p with low to medium settings. He has a gtx660ti ref card that i picked up for a reddit swap ss psu. Anyways glws and if i happen to get extra funds ill scoop it up, unless you have a need for windows keys again..lol

How stable was that overclock? Like good enough for a validation, a benchmark run, or good enough for every day? Did you hit a wall on the CPU, the RAM, or just not take it further?

It was stable in every single thing I wanted to do. Aida, realbench, prime, game, all of it. I never pushed it further. I always set out for 4.5 on just about every CPU. I have always been that way... Weird I suppose lol.

RAM was xmp at 2400 2 x 8 GB.

Alright sounds good. I'm interested but won't be buying for about another week, so I'll pm you if this is still available.
