Would you say a modular power supply is worth the 10-20% higher price? Would you say it really makes that much of a difference in cooling? Does it really decrease clutter enough to justify the higher price? From a functional point of view, is it worth the extra money?

The cooling is whatever, but it is worth it to decrease clutter and to make a better looking build.

I’m not sure it matters that much to decrease clutter in a full-size ATX case, you can always coil unused cables at the bottom. I would think that would only matter in small cases like ITX and mATX.
