Hardwarelabs Nemesis 280GTS vs Alphacool ST30 280?

Which Radiator is the better slim rad for low fan speed and low temps? I will be installing two of them inside my PC. One CPU and one GPU.

Also why such a price difference? GTS is only 60, where ST30 is 80.

One side question. Is 1 littler enough fluid for two rads, 150ml res, CPU/GPU waterblock?

1 liter should be enough. I found 1 liter to be enough on my first custom loop which consisted of a 140ml res,1 cpu and 1 gpu block, 360mm st30 rad, and a 240mm ek xe rad. I had a good bit of fluid left over actually.

Both rads perform similarly at low fan speeds. The nemesis gts is a higher restriction rad with a higher fpi and will perform better than the st30 at higher fan speeds. The link Jidonsu posted should really answer all of your questions regarding the radiators even though the 360mm variants are being tested.

According to review fpi are basically the same. Company data is bit off. It seems performs is better with HL at ever rpm speed.

the nemesis gts is better at every speed in the test but at real low fan speeds the difference is marginal. Something to consider is that the nemesis gts is a high restriction rad. Likely irrelevant in a small loop like the one you're building but becomes relevant if you ever wanted to expand into a larger build.

Yes, and as I had told you previously (along with telling you to ditch the ST30 idea for the GTS), the HWL is a much better finished rad. Alphacool rads are notorious for being filled with flux and dirt straight out of the box.

i didn't have as much crud in my st30s as people on this forum claim they will have and i own three of them. It took a bit of cleaning initially, but it wasn't as bad as people on this want to make it out to be.. My ek rads had far more crud in them.

Two of my three Alphacools were actually pretty clean, the third was bad. But, that aside, in a small loop (CPU, GPU, D5, Photon 170), the GTS performed a bit better in my test rig than the ST30. The biggest noticeable change was noise at like temps - the fans were working less on the GTS.
