I just received a Arctic Liquid Freezer 240 all-in-one kit for a new pc build I'm going to be doing. The Arctic Liquid Freezer 240 comes with 4 fans for push/pull which I want to use.
My question is in which direction to install the radiotor's top & bottom fan's for best performance?

Here's the pc parts I have so far:
Mobo: Asus Maximus VIII Hero
CPU: Intel Core i5 6600K (planning on overclocking w/AI Suite 3's 5-way optimization
SSD 1 : Samsung 850 EVO 500GB M.2 (For Windows 10 Pro & Programs)
SSD 2: Intel 530 Series 480GB. (For Games)
H.D.D.: Seagate Barracuda 3.0TB. (For All ,Contacts Documents, Downloads, Music, Pictures, Saved Games, Searches and Videos)
DVD-RW: LiteON iHAS 324
Blu-Ray Burner: LiteON iHBS 212
RAM: G-Skill Ripjaws Z F4-3200C16D-16GVGB (2 kits 32GBs.)
Video cards: 2 MSI N760 2GD5OC 2.0GBs.

Still need to get:
PSU: Corsair HX-1000i
Case: NZXT Phantom 820

Later after the build upgrading both video cards to 2 Sapphire Radeon R9 Fury 380X 4.0GBs in crossfire
3 more NZXT fans for inside case (1 for 120mm/140mm. pvot bracket and 2 for bottom of case in front of psu).
Juat waiting to here back from NZXT on which of their fan's will work with the cases built-in hue lighting.
Planning on going w/ red lighting for the NZXT fans and my mobo.
Then I'm going to get a new 24" ips monitor and then sell my current pc and monitor.

Is this mainly just for gaming?

And again your attitude speaks for itself. rolleyes.gif

I ware referring to you posts in general, not any single post.
Please consider not doing so in a thread that is not mine as i do not want to be sanctionned because of answering such statements.

Pls answer the question ?

I think we can assume this built is made for gaming as we can see the will to add multiple powerful GPU solutions to his configuration. Maybe he will also be doing applications requiring GPGPU power, eiher way my statements about the priority of GPU budget rather than CPU cooling budget still applies.

That is really the question. Too many users here simply assume that people are building a glorified X-Box, and don't actually use their computers for computational tasks. The intended use makes a huge difference in approach. There are many of us here who do far more than gaming, even though we seem to be the minority at times, at least vocally.

Is playing solitaire gaming? I only do it to improve my eye/hand & mouse coordination. biggrin.gif

That PSU is wayyyyyyyyyyy overkill for your build (and poorly built overkill), even when you upgrade. I'd cut costs there (get a G2/P2 as suggested, maybe ~750W for upgrades) and put it towards a better CPU cooler or a GPU upgrade (if you can trade your 760's for a decent price).
