Jonsbo / Cooltek Case Gallery and Owners Club - Page 34

Hi!

I will be receiving my parts for a new pc today and I had one question in my mind. The case is UMX4 and for starters I will be using only the included fans. Cpu cooler for i7 6700k will be BeQuiet Dark Rock 3 and graphics card Asus strix 1070 8G. It is my first time building a pc and I feel this might be a silly question, but how would you configurate the fans for optimum airflow? rolleyes.gif I will post pictures once the build is ready smile.gif

One fan in the bottom as an intake for the gpu, one fan in the back as intake for your cpu cooler and one at the top as exhaust. You can swap the ones at the top and back to your liking.

That seems logical, thank you!

Your strix has the ability to control pwm fans, two of them.
Install two of them at the bottom and link to strix, and as mentioned use the rear fan to intake and top two to exhaust. Youll run positive pressure that way, less dust !

Welcome, I have 5 fans but do it in basically the same way and I get fabulous temps from it. Make sure your CPU Cooler fan is aligned with the intake at the back so you have a sort of wind tunnel effect.

The case only comes with three stock fans, but the general concept is the same.

Well my new build has officially begun. I received my Jonsbo W2 Black with tempered glass yesterday. More parts are showing up today. We'll see how quickly this gets done, I have some custom stuff I want to do. My 4790K system is still up and running so no big rush.

First impression on the W2. It's smaller than I had imagined. Build quality seems right up there with what everyone has said. I would have liked to see the retention system for the old side panel be completely removed from this version, but I can understand why. I plan to remove any remnants of the old system, which will leave some holes in the chassis I plan to address.

For those of you in the US I highly recommend https://www.quietpc.com/. Yes you are going to pay more for shipping but I got my case quicker than I have from some retailers based in the US. I ordered it late Friday, they were closed obviously. Order processed and shipped on Monday and I received it Wednesday. All told shipped to my door for the Jonsbo W2 was $207 USD. If anyone is looking to order a Jonsbo and doesn't want to pay the outrageous Ebay prices I suggest you check out https://www.quietpc.com/

New System Specs will be:

Jonsbo W2 Black with tempered glass side
Intel 6700K
ASUS ROG Maximus VIII Hero Alpha
G.SKILL TridentZ Series 16GB
ASUS Strix 980ti OC
CORSAIR RM850X
4 x Noctua NF-P14s
3 x Noctua NF-S12B
Venomous X Black Cooler
1 x Samsung 850 EVO 250
2 x Samsung 850 EVO 500
Misc RGB Lighting and Sleeved PSU cables

Updates to come!!

Ooh, looking forward to seeing this build. It'll be very similar to what I have planned early next year.
